Privacy Policy

The Kondo Memorial Foundation (hereinafter referred to as "the Foundation") complies with the "Act on the Protection of Personal Information" and, respecting individual personality, establishes the following Personal Information Protection Policy regarding the handling of personal information concerning applicants, selected scholars, scholarship returnees, officers, and employees of the Foundation.

  1. The Foundation shall establish these regulations to practice the protection of personal information and shall ensure that all officers, employees, and other related parties are thoroughly informed of them.
  2. Personal information acquired by the Foundation shall be used solely for the purpose of executing the Foundation’s operations, and only authorized individuals shall use such information within the scope necessary for the performance of their duties.
  3. The Foundation recognizes that individuals have the right to request disclosure, correction, suspension of use, erasure, or other actions regarding their personal information, and shall respond appropriately to such requests.
  4. The Foundation shall take appropriate security measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of acquired personal information.
  5. The Foundation shall not provide personal information to third parties without legitimate grounds, except when prior consent has been obtained from the individual.
  6. When outsourcing business operations to a third party, the Foundation shall exercise necessary and appropriate supervision over said third party and take required measures.
